Tha’t the whole line that I heard (well at least that’s what I remembered) from the dialogue of the villain character in tonight’s episode of Supernatural.

Sam and Dean battles a century old witch that sacrifices people (3) to resurrect Samhain or Samhein, the Halloween man.

Anyway, here’s what Emancipate, means.. From the example sentence, it looks like it has something to do with self reliance and independence… Let’s consult Google….

Emancipate means, ;To free from bondage or involuntary servitude… Right! at least there the work ‘free from’ in there… Servitute may be another entry but I guess my guess is right.

Another good definition is give equal rights to; of women and minorities. Right again!
