Eat Right 4 Your Type is a diet, exercise and lifestyle program by Dr. Peter D’Adamo. What made it stood out from other diet and lifestyle programs is its revolutionary concept of eating based on your blood type. It seems that their research significantly shows that a person’s blood type can affect the kinds of food that are beneficial and non-beneficial to you. For some reason, even foods and fruits that are deemed healthy by most experts may not be beneficial to you if you are an O, A, B, or AB.

I’ve just started to try out if this blood type diet would actually work. I hope it does because, oh boy, there are so many restrictions for us As. I couldn’t even eat my favorite of all–meat. Well, except for chicken. But anyway, I really wish this would work.

Much like a couch potato, a mouse potato is a person who spends a lot of his leisure time in from of the computer.

As a compound word, mouse potato can be broken into two different words. Obviously, these words are mouse and potato. The word mouse, of course, refers to the computer device and not the crawly creatures (ew!). But I seldom wonder why people have attached the words couch and mouse to the word potato. If we think about it figuratively, maybe we’ll get the answer. Maybe it’s something about being a vegetable? Well, isn’t it right that people who are deemed unproductive are sometimes referred to as vegetables? Well, I’m just guessing. Its all up to you to decipher this.

Siri apparently is an application bought by Apple and was released and integrated with the iPhone 4S. It was released a day before Steve Jobs passed away.

Anyway, there’s this article about Siri that raised some controversy. Siri is like a virtual assistant and apparently it has some issue or bug with the word Abortion.

Not sure yet, and I dont want ot you give an incorrect information but you may want to check that out also.

Barely guessing from the context clues, an average person might have guessed that a portcullis is some sort of a gate. What a wise guess, that is. An online dictionary defines portcullis  as “a strong grating, made to slide along vertical grooves at the sides of a gateway of a fortified place and let down to prevent passage.”

Most people know what a portcullis is physically but its name is seldom spoken, especially now that a portcullis type of gate is considered to be outdated.

Anyway, simply put, a portcullis is a gate that moves vertically to allow or prevent passage. It is widely used in castles during the medieval times.
